Scottish Game Fair visitors come from far and wide to enjoy the lively and friendly atmosphere, to hunt for bargains in over 300 trade stands, to learn more about their countryside, to see a huge variety of displays and demonstrations and to test their skills in a wide range of competitions.
The Great Yorkshire Show - England's Premier Agricultural Event
Celebrating British field sports and country life, The Game Fair boasts a comprehensive itinerary for the whole family, including gundog handling, clay shooting, archery, fishing, falconry and ferreting. Visitors can also enjoy a host of food, drink and shopping stalls as well as outdoor activities including off-road driving. Ensuring there is something for everyone!
The fair is held at Moy Estate which is about 10 miles south of Inverness on the A9 Perth to Inverness road.
Taking place within the beautiful grounds of Lowther Castle, this year’s Lowther Show will bring to you a full line-up of activity, which already includes the Horse Carriage Driving Trials and the Lowther Hound Show. The Lowther Show will also bring together world-class sporting championships, including the Great Wall Motor World Series Clay Shooting and Great Wall Motor World Series Gundog Championship with headline dog food sponsor Chudleys, top-class main arena acts, demonstrations and hundreds upon hundreds of top-line, quality driven, local exhibition stands for visitors to truly indulge in and experience.
A fantastic place for the whole family, the Lowther Show also hosts an array of family-inspired features including a crafts and antiques fairs, a superb Food Festival offering home-grown food-stuffs and produce, a licensed bar and picnic areas, countryside sports and championships, plus countryside stores selling the latest clothing and accessories for you to buy.
Blair Castle Barclays International Horse Trials and Country Fair is Scotland's leading equestrian event, running over four days in August each year and attracting in excess of 40,000 visitors. Olympics medallists compete alongside amateurs in the four International event classes, whilst British Showjumping and showing classes provide a platform for riders in other disciplines to compete on Blair's hallowed turf.
The Bruadar Country Fair runs alongside the equestrian activities on the Saturday and Sunday, featuring displays of both traditional and more modern countryside pursuits. A large shopping village harbours all sorts of attractions and bargains in over 200 stands.
The Fidelity Blenheim Palace International Horse Trials welcome all visitors to the event, from the first time guest to the many who come back year after year to enjoy the four days of exciting action! Children who are under 12 years of age can access the event and the Member's areas free of charge if accompanied by an adult who has the relevant admission tickets.
The Midland Game Fair is the UK’s premier shooting event, and has been the event of choice for country sports enthusiasts for over a decade. Held each year at Weston Park in Shropshire, the Midland Game Fair has become the annual meeting place for the shooting community.
