Since 1992, my mother and father have brought the best of what they found in outdoor apparel from around the world to Britain. Strength of design and manufacture have always been key ingredients in what was, and is, valued. Having lived in both Australian and New Zealand, products from these countries have been a strong influence on our business. Today, as a family, we present these products and more – to you – on this website, and also at the UK’s premier Equestrian, County and Agricultural Shows, along with Game Fairs. Alongside this strong show presence, we also present our Cotswold shop in Burford. We endeavour to give you the finest service and hope you will enjoy shopping with us.

Elm of Burford is the UK’s main distributor for Akubra hats, and is Schöffel‘s recommended show retailer. Though we only have the one shop in Burford, The Cotswolds, we travel far and wide in the UK attending many country, equestrian and game fairs and shows. Details of these we post in our Blog.

This website is directly linked to our live inventory, so if listed it is in stock. The website also has collection option if you are thinking of coming in and want to have things secured beforehand. Burford is a picturesque market town and a lovely day out with a selection of good restaurants, cafes, bakeries and tea shops. Visting The Shop

Opening Times (7 Days)

We open most Bank Holidays, except around Christmas and New Year and operate on Sunday hours, 11:00 AM – 4:00 PM, when we do.

We will be temporarily closed on Wednesdays in April.
